How to Match the LT ZJ20 to Your Project
In fields developed before the AC VFD era, shallow 2000 m holes were routinely finished by compact mechanical units, and the economics of those campaigns still point the same way. The LT-ZJ20 land mechanical drilling rig is the lightweight answer in our fleet: a 2000 m nominal depth on 114 mm pipe, a 1350 kN static hook rating and a 440 kW (590 HP) drawworks over a ZP205 rotary head. Its diesel-only driveline needs no on-site electrical house at all, which is why it suits isolated well clusters, rural water wells and small geothermal jobs where laying power distribution would cost more than the drilling programme. The weight-reduced derrick and integrated skid also lower the foundation load, so weak ground can take the machine.
When you send an LT-ZJ20 enquiry, lead with your maximum planned depth, the bearing capacity of the ground, and whether the site has any mains supply. The 26 mm wireline on 4 x 5/8 lines is standard, as is the -30 C to +50 C envelope and construction to API 4F, API 7K and ISO 9001. If your wells will regularly exceed 2000 m or pull heavy intermediate casing, the LT-ZJ30 is the step up rather than over-speccing this lightweight unit; say also if the job includes shallow workover, because the travelling equipment can be matched to it.
Because this class of mechanical land drilling rig is often bought by smaller crews on their first machine, it can be supplied with a full operator training package either at your site or at our Jingzhou factory, so the hands on the drawworks understand the clutch-and-brake logic before spud. Pricing is built around the diesel brand, any optional hydraulic assist and the pump package, with a written offer within two working days of your well data.
