Series overview
The crawler and core drilling rig series is built for exploration programs where the drill must reach the ore body or survey point without road access. Mounted on full-hydraulic self-propelled crawlers, these rigs move under their own power at up to 3.0 km/h and climb grades up to 35 degrees, making them suitable for mountainous, forested, and fractured terrain that truck or trailer rigs cannot reach.
The GXY-44 is the representative compact unit: a 1000 m core rig with 4200 N-m spindle torque, 72 kN feeding and 78 kN pull-back, powered by a 92 kW diesel engine. For deeper coring, the ZDX-1500L reaches 1500 m with a 180 kN hoisting force and a reinforced hydraulic mast. Both offer stepless hydraulic rotary speed control across soil, weathered rock, and hard formations. Diesel or electric power packages are available depending on site grid availability.
